Costume designer Johanna Pelkonen designs costumes mainly to dance and music theatre. At the moment she is interested in experimental techniques and ecological and sustainatable methods.
She holds MA (Art & Design) from University on Lapland. She also has vast experience as a teacher in clothing design, visual expression and easthetic knowledge. One of her main expertise is fabric prints. Nowadays she works in marketing and communications and has been an acitve member of the Northern Opera Company’s board since 2018.
